RG Holden Colorado, Modified #35

So here we have it, a RG Holden Colorado. This ute being mildly yet well modified and thought out. It’s a great example of showing you don’t need everything i.e. winch, lockers and high lift kits.

This is a well-balanced vehicle for practicality and overland/off-roading, also the vehicle itself (RG Holden Colorado) is well suited as an off-roader and traveling vehicle with its user friendly storage and rear seat adjustments.

Other vehicle manufactures could learn a thing or two from the RG Colorado.

Is it starting to sound like a vehicle review? Well yes, you will get both in this video, a modified vehicle and a bit of a vehicle review.

Enjoy the video while Zak and I talk about his vehicle.

Zak’s top 3 trips in the vehicle:

  1. Esperance
  2. Lancelin
  3. Lake Louge Brook

Unstoppable moment in the RG Colorado:

Can't think of one…

Most scary situation in the Holden Colorado:

Getting stuck in a bog hole with water half way up the door. Was scary when my mate, I was with, couldn’t pull me out as his car wasn’t big enough.

Zak's modification tips:

Plastidipping behind the front bar last a lot longer than paint and it won’t chip.

Xrox bars show a lot of colour coded body work that looks much better in black.

Things to lookout for with this model RG Colorado:

Fuel Filters sit under the car and can be smashed easily as I have done before.

Top 3 tips with the vehicle:

1.    Wrap the b pillar to make it look like the higher spec models.

2.      When fitting 33’s a bit of trimming is required on the guard liners and body mount.

3.      iDrive is a great upgrade when up-sizing wheels to make it drive better.
