A father and son trip!

The Ute
This 4x4 has brought much pleasure over the last year.
Prior to owning it I've had 2 wheel drive utes for the last 10 years. It's great to finally get off the beaten track again and take the path less travelled.
I wait all week to see the big smoke in the rear view mirror. It's funny when something like a vehicle can richen your life with experiences while making you poor in the pocket at the same time!
We recently went on a father and son trip up the coast. It was a great trip throwing in a few challenges here and there. Crossing blown out sand dunes, negotiating flooded tracks and even setting up camp in driving rain and gale force winds!! ( in the dark... )
Always looking forward to the next trip. I love the red dirt country, so I think I might just roll the swag and head on up ;)
